Luxury homebuilder Toll Brothers is seeing "notable improvement" in North Carolina, another sign that the housing slump may be easing.

The Pennsylvania company reported a smaller quarterly loss Thursday morning, and executives painted a largely optimistic outlook, saying the simmering economic recovery will revive the market for high-end homes.

Toll's Triangle communities include Triple Crown Estates in Chapel Hill, Green Level Crossing in Cary, The Hills at Southpoint in Durham and Brier Creek Country Club in Raleigh. It also owns communities in the Charlotte region.

I was fortunate enough to spend a weekend in a exclusive, gated community called Linville in North Raleigh. The home is one of my favorites - just beautiful - check it out!

Linville was swarming with people this past weekend! I felt somewhat sorry for the actual residents there. I arrived early both days and you could just see the full-time residents filter out of the neighborhood for the day to avoid the mass of people driving through and the tour buses on route. There was one bus with 43 people that showed up in Linville.

From my perspective it was a huge success! I had many people tour 11229 Conley Cove Court and they were in awe of the incredible craftsmanship, lavish pool and attention to detail that Pinnacle Construction Group is known for. Several had also visited Hasentree and said that it, too, was a zoo!
